Most people at Montemalaga Elementary have probably seen Matthew Brach on campus at one time or another – although they may not know his name. Matthew volunteered his time to make the families at Montemalaga safer, he would stand in the parking lot – directing traffic and making sure students got to school safely. His yellow vest, oversized white gloves and friendly smile greeted students and parents throughout the year.

Matthew’s company, Brach, Inc was also the title sponsor for Montemalaga’s Fun Runs in 2017 and 2018. Throughout his daughter’s studies at Montemalaga, Matthew was active in the school. Serving as the 4th Vice President of the PTA, working with staff and students on safety drills or even dressing up as a big white eagle to make people smile.

One thing is evident – Matthew Brach gave back to the school which gave to his daughter. Matthew Brach has always given back and enjoys helping others. Now Matthew wants to give back to his community and is running for a seat on the Palos Verdes Unified School District.
